Why Join?
Appreciation
The Society encourages all collectors of ceramic objects and their decoration. The Society provides a forum for discussion and learning more about all types of ceramics both pottery and porcelain, from flatwares and figures to blue and white and from all periods and countries.
Community
The Society prides itself in offering a welcoming environment for collectors at all stages, from the beginner to the specialist and for those with specific or general interests. The Committee is made up of volunteers and provides a delicious supper after each meeting. Member excursions are organised to places of interest.
Education
The Society holds meetings every second month with a comprehensive newsletter and periodic seminars as well as organising Society exhibitions. Occasionally visits are arranged to places of interest such as exhibitions and collections, potters’ studios and galleries.
